Everyone is welcome

A little time. A big difference.

Help on the day, lend a skill or support us behind the scenes. Meetings are informal and open to parents, carers and staff.

Role vacancy

Could you be our Co-Secretary?

A light, termly role that one person can do or two can share: agendas, minutes and keeping our paperwork in order. Sarah Parish and Katy Furber, who previously held this role, are happy to have a quick chat first.

Help at an event

  • Event helpers

Stalls, games and crafts at community events. Rachel Briscoe (Squirrel and Otter) and Sophie Glass (Fox) are leading this year's Christmas Fayre.

  • Quartermasters

Look after The FOA's event equipment and help with set-up, from BBQs and marquees to fencing and sheds. New joiners are welcome.

  • Event comperes

Help with announcements and music at school events.

Put your skills to use

  • Eco Stall leadVacancy

Lead the stall selling the small amount of stock The FOA holds at events. The AGM identified this as a vacancy.

  • Fireworks shadowing

Shadow Helen at Fireworks 2026 and learn how to lead the event in 2027, with no pressure.

  • Lead a community event

The Summer Fete and Big Picnic need leaders, as individuals or small groups. Plans and dates are still to be confirmed.

Support throughout the year

  • Pre-loved uniform sales

Help the pre-loved team at sales, raising funds while passing good uniform on to another Ashley family.

  • Donate or buy uniform

Drop uniform in the green bins by the School Office, or find the next sale, prices and how to reserve.

  • Be a class rep

Share messages from The FOA with your class group and help keep families informed.

  • Smaller fundraisers

Happy Bags, Christmas cards or class fundraisers: help out, or share an idea of your own.
